I’m a resident of the Detroit, Michigan area and recent transplant from the SF Bay Area in California. My training includes sculpture-building, metal fabrication, design, theater tech, and performance; all of these are relevant in how I make things and share skills.

I’ve always built constructs out of whatever I could find. I’m pretty sure that everything in the world is a potential puzzle piece, whose finished form is determined by their fit and collective meaning. As a maker-for-hire, my work usually answers a question or wish, whether it is structural, aesthetic, or social.

I’ve been fortunate to belong to numerous art collectives and groups, two of which are highlighted here. The rewards of working, learning, and teaching with a motivated group of imaginative people are amazing, and it’s the best way to build community that I’ve ever seen.
