Brollyflock (2011)

Brollyflock by Flux Foundation was designed and built for the Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, NV, and travelled to further events in California. A 40-foot high bouquet of umbrellas stemming from three enormous umbrella handles, the installation featured misting water effects, interactive and ambient flame effects, and an LED system. Built from steel pipe, stainless steel sheet, and fabric, Brollyflock entertained, inspired, and refreshed event participants near and far, around the clock. Initial design by Rebecca Anders, with input from Don Cain (systems design), Marianne Ortega (brolly design and development), and many others within Flux. Built with a dedicated crew of skilled and creative artists. More about Flux Foundation.
