Sunafire (2020)

Sunafire is a propane fireplace comissioned and built for a private residence in San Francisco, CA. Its shape and color are inspired by the protective ‘evil eye’ symbol, known in many Mediterranean cultures. The stainless steel structure features two rising curved wings which form a circle when viewed from its long end. Its basin holds fire in a bed of blue glass, over brass and copper plumbing.
