The Flaming Lotus Girls is a vibrant organization based in San Francisco, CA. Since 2000, FLG has created gorgeous and challenging large-scale sculptural installations, with a focus on flame effects and interactivity.
The group is a widely varied community which encourages collaborative work and experimentation. From its inception through 2008, I contributed design, fabrication, training, organizing, and labor as a member. For the installations below, I played a significant role in design and creation of the work. All were initially built for Burning Man, and have since been shown across North America and beyond.
